Kagoshima airport

First of all, Kagoshima airport is the gateway to Kagoshima.
As soon as you exit the domestic arrival gate, you will find a natural hot spring footbath called "Oyattosaa".

Oyattosaa is a Kagoshima dialect and it means "Good work" or "Thanks for your hard work" in Kagoshima dialect.
You can enter the footbath for free!

There is a taxi stand and a bus stop near the footbath.
Bus stop No. 8 is for buses going to Kagoshima City.

The bus departs about three times an hour, The fare is JPY 1,300 for adults and JPY 650 for children!

Fares can be paid in advance with cash or Rapica.

Kagoshima Chuo station

Take a bus from Kagoshima airport takes about 50 min to reach Kagoshima Chuo station!

Kagoshima Chuo station is the first and last station on the Kyushu Shinkansen line and is a terminal station where various lines arrive and depart.
